Czur Scanner: World's Fastest & First Smart Scanner - You can Scan any Object

The Chinese-based company CzurTek recently unveiled a scanner with the ability to scan a 500-page book in seven minutes, making it the world’s fastest device of its kind. Like many modern digital scanners, the Czur Scanner can connect to Wi-Fi, double as a video projector, and includes a USB port, an HDMI connector.

The device separates itself from traditional modern scanners by also acting as a LED-lit desk lamp, and implementing a fingerprint-removal software. Yet, compared with the 25 or 26 scans per minute offered by other top digital scanners on the market, the Czur Scanner’s roughly 71 scans per minute is what makes it an exciting technology.

The device, which measures 14" w. by 8" d. by 15" h., is able to scan not only pages from a book or magazine but small 3-D objects as well (such as sculptures, fruits, and vegetables, among others). Hype around the Czur Scanner even reached Chinese prime minister Li Keqiang, who awarded the small company with a Golden Key prize at a technology event in Davos, Switzerland, this summer. The honor is symbolic in China, and is meant to “open the door” to more success.
